Enemies within the emanation take 12d8 sonic damage and must attempt a Will save; particularly tyrannical creatures, like a despot or a devil, take a –2 circumstance penalty to their saves. The GM determines which creatures take this penalty. Allied creatures within the emanation gain 15 temporary Hit Points that last for 1 minute.
Critical Success The creature is unaffected.
Success The creature takes half damage.
Failure The creature takes full damage, is Frightened 1, and is Stupefied 1 for 1 round.
Critical Failure The creature takes double damage, is Frightened 2, and is Stupefied 2 for 2 rounds.
Heightened (+1) The damage increases by 1d8, and the temporary Hit Points increase by 5.
