This +2 greater striking longspear has the skull of a horned beast mounted to the crossbar. During your daily preparations, you can douse the skull in the blood of a monster; the weapon gains the effects of a bane rune until your next daily preparations, targeting a trait of the creature which supplied the blood.

Effect You impale the creature's heart, thrusting it through the beast's back and exploding it in a shower of blood. Creatures within a 15-foot cone originating from the creature take 10d6 acid damage with a DC 30 Basic Reflex save. On a critical failure, they're also Blinded until the end of their next turn as they're coated in blood.
Trait Effects
Reach: This weapon can be used to attack enemies up to 10 feet away instead of only adjacent enemies. For creatures with reach, the weapon increases their reach by 5 feet.
Critical Specialisation Effects
