Effect The mantle encases your body in a shell of elemental stone and crystal, effectively transforming you into a Large battle form resembling a vault lifter. The transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you Dismiss the effect. While in this form, you gain the construct trait, as well as the following statistics and abilities:

• AC = 20 + your level. Ignore your armor’s check penalty and Speed reduction.

• 50 temporary Hit Points

• Speed 30 feet, fly 50 feet (when rotor is active)

• Tremorsense 60 feet

• Activate Rotor 1 (magical) You activate the carapace’s rotor, gaining a fly Speed of 40 feet and generating an aura in a 5-foot emanation. Any creature that enters or starts its turn in the aura takes 4d10 slashing damage with a DC 35 Basic Fortitude. On a critical success, your rotor is deactivated, and you lose your fly Speed and aura until you Activate Rotor again.

• Special You have hands and can perform manipulate actions while in this form, as well as speak normally. You can cast spells while in this form, but you must succeed at a DC 5 Flat before attempting to Cast a Spell with the manipulate trait or the spell is lost.

  You gain the following unarmed attacks, which are the only attacks you can Strike with. You’re trained with them. Your attack modifier is +29 and your damage bonus is +17. Your melee attacks are Strength-based, and your ranged attacks are Dexterity-based. If your corresponding unarmed attack modifier or damage bonus is higher, you can use it instead.

Effect You issue an order in Petran to all nearby constructs, with the effects of a 5th-rank Command spell (DC 37 Will). Mindless constructs can be affected, even if they’re otherwise immune to mental effects, and they take a –2 circumstance penalty to their saving throws.
