Item: Limitless Power
Each of these bargained contracts is unique, matching the contracted's idea of unlimited power. When you gain this contract, select one weapon in your possession, a common divine cantrip, and one common divine spell of each spell rank except 10th. The weapon becomes a +4 greater striking weapon. Once per day, from any distance, when you Activate this contract or Strike with the selected weapon, the devil who holds your bargained contract can call upon their divine right as a free action to have the spell or Strike target you or have its area centered on you instead of its intended targets.
Activate—Unholy Demand 3 (concentrate, manipulate)
Frequency once per week
Effect You call upon a right of self-determination article in your contract. The contract casts manifestation (spell attack modifier +30, DC 40). Your contractor is immediately made aware of which spell you are duplicating.
Activate—Unleash Power 1 to 3 (concentrate, manipulate)
Effect The contract casts one of the selected spells (spell attack modifier +30, DC 40). The contract can cast each non-cantrip spell only once per day. You use the same number of actions for this activation as the selected spell normally takes.
Destruction The contract bursts into flame if the devil who signed it is slain and a celestial of equal or higher level declares it void.
Trait Effects
Artifact: Items with this trait are artifacts. These magic items can't be crafted by normal means, and they can't be damaged by normal means. Artifacts are always rare or unique.
Contract: A contract is a type of item that magically establishes an agreement between multiple parties and typically grants magical benefits.
Invested: A character can invest only 10 magical items that have the invested trait. None of the magical effects of the item apply if the character hasn’t invested it, nor can it be activated, though the character still gains any normal benefits from wearing the physical item (like a hat keeping rain off their head).
Magical: Something with the magical trait is imbued with magical energies not tied to a specific tradition of magic. Some items or effects are closely tied to a particular tradition of magic. In these cases, the item has the arcane, divine, occult, or primal trait instead of the magical trait. Any of these traits indicate that the item is magical.
