Item: Boreal Staff (Greater)
A boreal staff is chiseled from a cylinder of ice to form a spiky, jagged icicle, its surface gleaming with the colors of the northern lights. It gives the air around you a distinct chill. When used as a weapon, a greater boreal staff is a +2 striking frost staff.

Effect Attempt a Strike using the staff. That Strike deals 2d4 cold additional damage.

Trait Effects
Magical: Something with the magical trait is imbued with magical energies not tied to a specific tradition of magic. Some items or effects are closely tied to a particular tradition of magic.
