Infernal tongues spread word of your great deeds. Creatures that would have an initial attitude toward you other than hostile have their attitude improved by one step. Once per day, from any distance, the devil who holds your bargained contract can cite a defamation clause, rendering you unable to speak for 1 hour.

Effect You invoke a due diligence stipulation in your contract. Attempt a Diplomacy check to make a Request of the creature with the highest Will DC within 100 feet who isn't your ally; the GM might have you make a Request of the most influential creature instead. The result applies to all creatures within 100 feet that can understand you.
Trait Effects
Contract: A contract is a type of item that magically establishes an agreement between multiple parties and typically grants magical benefits.
Invested: A character can invest only 10 magical items that have the invested trait. None of the magical effects of the item apply if the character hasn’t invested it, nor can it be activated, though the character still gains any normal benefits from wearing the physical item (like a hat keeping rain off their head).
Magical: Something with the magical trait is imbued with magical energies not tied to a specific tradition of magic. Some items or effects are closely tied to a particular tradition of magic. In these cases, the item has the arcane, divine, occult, or primal trait instead of the magical trait. Any of these traits indicate that the item is magical.
