The traditional robes of Sorshen, Runelord of Lust, this garment combines a powerful artifact with a sign of office, as with many runelords' accoutrements. Woven of the finest silks and accented with precious stones, the garment is light and easy to move in. Sorshen created, then expanded on the artifact throughout her time as the runelord of lust, adding to it during much of the Age of Legend.

This ever-shifting garment of silk and gems subtly reshapes itself in response to its wearer, adopting an appearance most flattering to their form. It's a set of +3 greater resilient explorer's clothing. The garment's four pockets each function as separate Spacious Pouches (Type IV). While wearing the garment, you're immune to mental effects unless you choose otherwise. When you invest Sorshen's Scintillating Garment, you increase your Charisma modifier by 1, or increase it to +4, whichever would give you a higher value.

Activate—Scintillating Colors 2 (arcane, aura, visual)

Frequency once per hour

Effect Sorshen's Scintillating Garment casts Dizzying Colors (DC 41), heightened to 10th rank, to your specifications. If you spend 1 Mythic Point as part of this activation, the spell's area changes to a 20-foot type:emanation, and you can designate any number of creatures in that area to be immune to the spell's effects, and the spell loses the incapacitation trait.

Destruction Sorshen's Scintillating Garment is destroyed if it's immersed in the waters of a destroyed Runewell of Lust.

Trait Effects

Apex: When you Invest an Item that has the apex trait, it improves one of your attributes, either increasing the attribute’s modifier by 1 or to a total of +4, whichever would give you a higher score. This gives you all the benefits of the new attribute modifier until the investiture runs out: increasing Intelligence lets you become trained in an additional skill and learn a new language, increasing Constitution gives you more Hit Points, and so on. An apex item grants this benefit only the first time it’s invested within a 24-hour period, and you can benefit from only one apex item at a time. If you attempt to invest an apex item when you already have one invested, you don’t gain the attribute modifier increase, though you do gain any other effects of Investing the Item.

Artifact: Items with this trait are artifacts. These magic items can't be crafted by normal means, and they can't be damaged by normal means. Artifacts are always rare or unique.

Comfort: The armor is so comfortable that you can rest normally while wearing it.

Mythic: Options with this trait grant or utilize mythic power. Feats with the mythic trait can only be taken by mythic characters, who are typically characters with a mythic Calling. Monsters with the mythic trait have access to a pool of Mythic Points and are particularly strong for creatures of their level. Many mythic monsters are either resistant or entirely immune to attacks from non-mythic creatures and weapons. Spells with the mythic trait require the expenditure of a Mythic Point in order to be cast, and items with the mythic trait require the expenditure of a Mythic Point in order to use their activated abilities. Weapons with the mythic trait overcome the resistances and immunities of mythic monsters.
