Item: Lattice Armor
Also known as "varman" in some parts of the Impossible Lands, this armor is made from fine metal cables woven into latticework patterns with plated segments to protect the head, neck, and shoulders. This armor disperses blows much like rings of chain mail but is much tighter in construction, making it quieter.
Armor Specialisation Effects
The overlapping rings of chain are designed to deflect piercing attacks and reduce the impact of crushing blows.
Medium Armor: When you take damage from a critical hit, reduce the extra damage by 4 + the value of the armor's potency rune. This is the damage beyond the base damage, as determined on a success.
