Requirements You're in an area of dim or bright light and aren't holding a shield
Effect A hardlight shield the size and shape of a buckler springs from the gemstone, with the effects of the Raise A Shield action. The shield is weightless, doesn't require a hand to use, and has 24 HP, Hardness 6, and BT 12. While the shield is raised, you gain a +1 circumstance bonus to AC and can use the Shield Block reaction to reduce the damage from any attack, spell, or magical effect, but it retracts at the beginning of your next turn unless you spend an action to Sustain it. Whenever the barrier's HP are below its BT, it automatically regains 3 HP every round until it's no longer broken, but it can't regain HP through any other means, nor can it benefit from runes, talismans, or other enhancements. If the shield is destroyed, the gemstone cracks, rendering the bracelet unusable for 24 hours.
Trait Effects
Invested: A character can invest only 10 magical items that have the invested trait. None of the magical effects of the item apply if the character hasn’t invested it, nor can it be activated, though the character still gains any normal benefits from wearing the physical item (like a hat keeping rain off their head).

In these cases, the item has the arcane, divine, occult, or primal trait instead of the magical trait. Any of these traits indicate that the item is magical.
