This mechanical device contains a number of spring-loaded metal plates and pistons. When placed on a solid surface and activated, the device vibrates furiously for 1 minute, until it shakes itself apart. The racket and vibrations it creates disrupt hearing and tremorsense in a 20-foot emanation. Creatures with precise hearing or tremorsense treat those senses as imprecise while within the area, and creatures with imprecise hearing or tremorsense lose those senses completely. Creatures entirely inside the area are Concealed to creatures outside the area that rely on hearing or tremorsense as a precise sense, and are Hidden to imprecise hearing or tremorsense, though they can be detected as usual with a Seek action.
