What is a wish? A wish dragon would call it the truest expression of self—each individual wish reveals something of deep importance to the wisher, and no two wishes are ever quite the same. Whether the wish is one of creation or destruction, justice or vengeance, love or hate, wish dragons seek to understand what makes it important to the wisher and view their ability to make it a reality as a gift that helps them make sense of the world.

To a wish dragon, learning what someone wishes for is the beginning of a conversation, granting them that wish is a gift, and watching what they do with it is a reward. They take each part of this journey seriously and spend much of their lives moving among other ancestries to better understand what others want and need, especially during their younger years. While they view this mission as a righteous one, it can become all-consuming, and some have been known to lose all sense of themselves in their quest to bring about the dreams and desires of those around them.
