Activate 2 (concentrate, manipulate)

A bonebloom rose appears as a blue-petaled rose, often found growing within the ribs of a skeleton buried in a grave under Pharasma's protection. These consumable items can also be crafted as any other item. When you activate a bonebloom rose, you inhale deeply from its petals while squeezing the stem hard enough that its thorns painfully (but otherwise harmlessly) pierce your flesh. The rose then withers and crumbles to dust, and you gain 40 temporary Hit Points for 1 hour. As long as you have at least 1 of these temporary Hit Points remaining (and they haven't been replaced by temporary Hit Points from a different source), your Strikes deal an additional 2 spirit damage to undead.

Effect: Bonebloom Rose

Trait Effects

Consumable: An item with this trait can be used only once. Unless stated otherwise, it’s destroyed after activation. Consumable items include alchemical items and magical consumables such as scrolls and talismans. A character can Craft consumable items in batches of four.

Divine: This magic comes from the divine tradition, drawing power from deities or similar sources. Anything with this trait is magical. A creature with this trait is primarily constituted of or has a strong connection to divine magic.

Healing: A healing effect restores a creature’s body, typically by restoring Hit Points, but sometimes by removing diseases or other debilitating effects.

Plant: Vegetable creatures have the plant trait. They are distinct from normal plants. Magical effects with this trait manipulate or conjure plants or plant matter in some way. Effects that manipulate plants have no effect in an area with no plants.
