Feat: Incriminating Spell

You can attempt to blame someone else for your attempt to modify a target's mind. If the next action you use is to Cast a Spell with the mental trait, choose a creature within 60 feet that the target can sense. The target will think that creature, instead of you, attempted to alter its mind when it succeeds at its save. If the target attempts to Sense Motive on either you or the incriminated creature, they must compare the results to your spell DC instead of the target's Deception DC. If the incriminated creature is obviously incapable of using magic, the target gains a +2 circumstance bonus to their perception check to Sense Motive.
