Spellshift—Elemental Substitution Raw elemental energy is the fuel powering some of the most iconic spells of destruction ever devised, and you've discovered a method for realigning the magical pathways through which that energy flows into the material world.

Critical Success If the targeted spell inflicts acid, cold, electricity, fire, or sonic damage, you change its damage type to your choice of one of acid, cold, electricity, fire, or sonic damage. If the effect has a duration, it inflicts damage of its new type for 1 minute, then returns to normal.

Success As critical success, except if the effect has a duration, it inflicts damage of its new type until the beginning of your next turn, then returns to normal.
